

This report highlights the insights generated through a cross-sector convening hosted by The Conduit Foundation in partnership with Purpose Union and supported by Google.org. It explores how artificial intelligence is beginning to reshape humanitarian action, and what is required to ensure its deployment strengthens rather than undermines equity, effectiveness and accountability across the sector.

On 2 December 2025, The Conduit Foundation convened a cross-sector “Yes, But…” debate bringing together charity leaders, funders and technologists to examine how the non-profit sector is adapting under sustained financial pressure, and what role AI may play in shaping its future.
