We are currently not a grant-making organisation but work in partnership with funders to catalyse capital and accelerate systems change.
Through our programmes we seek opportunities to collaborate with those actively driving solutions across the six focus areas of our Solutions Agenda, and whose diverse experiences and voices can shape and scale these solutions.
Democracies are under strain. Trust is declining, polarisation deepening, and AI-amplified disinformation spreading faster than democratic systems can handle. Most citizens and leaders lack the digital literacy to navigate this landscape. AI can be a genuine opportunity to rebuild trust and reimagine participation — but only if we act now to build civic awareness and participation.
The Conduit Foundation's Civic Toolkit is a non-partisan initiative bringing together citizens, educators, technologists, and policymakers to understand the future of democratic culture for the digital age. Our convening series is designed to build a toolkit for citizens to shape their democratic future.
Flooding is the UK's greatest climate threat, converging with drought and deteriorating water quality. By 2050, peak river flows could rise 45%; water shortages could reach 5 billion litres a day; and only 14% of rivers meet acceptable ecological standards today. Behind those numbers are the homes, farms and communities that flood first and dry out hardest. Nature-based solutions are proven to reduce these risks - what's been missing is the coordination and funding to deliver them at scale.
FloodAction Coalition convened by The Conduit and chaired by Aviva, is delivered in partnership with The Conduit Foundation. With support from our partners Google.org, UBS Optimus Foundation and Z Zurich Foundation, we bring together water companies, public bodies, conservation organisations and landowners to scale nature-based solutions to flood, drought and water quality - rebuilding water resilience and strengthening communities for generations to come.

Our programme delivers curated convenings where we focus on solutions scouting to gather insights and build actionable plans that can equip civil society to harness AI responsibly, effectively, and at scale.
Extreme heat is a deepening crisis — yet dramatically underestimated as a systemic risk. By 2050, once-in-50-year heat events will strike every 5–10 years. For rapidly urbanising cities in the Global South, the consequences are already devastating. Proven solutions exist, but remain fragmented and disconnected from the leaders and investors who can deploy them at scale.
The Conduit Foundation, in partnership with Howden Foundation, convenes cross-sector changemakers — from insurers to city leaders — to position extreme heat as a systemic risk and catalyse action, with a deliberate focus on the Global South. Working with our partners we will deliver high-impact convenings with the goal with the goal of scouting solutions to Urban Heat that can be scaled.. Our published Opportunity Blueprint will equip cities with practical pathways to resilience to protect the public, economies and ecosystems.
